Many variants can be represented from one tool in order to enable a wide range of
load capacities. Using different rubber compounds and
hardnesses is the easiest. The material of the
outer tube can be adapted to the loads. The same applies to the
material of the back-up rings. By using stepped back-up rings,
the load capacity can be increased by a further level.
If higher torsional or cardanic loads occur more frequently, we recommend a multi-layer bushing.
In the commercial vehicle, the leaf spring ends are rolled to eyes, in which the Jörn leaf spring eye bearings are used. At one end, the bushings are attached directly to the frame. On the other there is a short handlebar, which in turn is attached to the frame with an identical bushing. But even with air-sprung trucks, there is a Jörn leaf spring eye bearing in the rolled eye of the handlebars.
