https://youtu.be/DhZmHijCqW0https://youtu.be/IzsPsLsrwUoThe new trailer! Have fun!
In addition to the already presented lightweight ball joints, we can now also apply our lightweight construction concept to slit bushings with claws.
Here, too, weight savings of up to one third are possible.
And in the vast majority of cases even cheaper than with classic manufacturing methods!
Of course, with identical dimensions and the same performance!
A marketing gimmick? Magic?
No! Jörn engineering!
The first projects have already started! Be the next to benefit from this innovation.
Save weight and money!

Fire protection in passenger and freight trains is a
major topic that also affects our products.
Because our rubber metal parts, as the name suggests, contain rubber. On the
one hand, rubber is flammable and produces toxic gases when burned. Therefore,
special rules apply here with regard to the use of these components in rail
vehicles.
Joern briefly discusses the corresponding standard (DIN EN 45545) and
explains our solution.
A fire protection compound based on natural rubber
certified according to DIN EN 45545.
In this video, Joern presents a real novelty.
The lightweight ball joint, patent pending. With the help of a new technology, ball joints, such as those installed in the chassis of trucks and tractors, have been made more than a third lighter. All this without any restrictions in performance and at the same price level as conventional ball joints.

The company Jörn presents its possibilities in the field of rubber metal at the Husum Wind 2021.
This year’s focus is on the condition monitoring system for dynamically loaded rubber metal parts.
Today we show you our production plant in the Allgäu, the company Allgummi.
Here we vulcanize our small and medium-sized series. The range goes from a few 10 pieces to several thousand per year.
You will gain insights into the process of vulcanization, the pretreatment of metals and also the storage of raw rubber.

In this video, Joern Gummi Metall presents parts with special properties.
From complex constructions to clever ideas, everything is represented here.
So have fun with the not so everyday rubber metal parts of Jörn GmbH.
Joern describes the innovation process at Jörn using the example of our bicycle suspension.
Here again the path from the idea to innovation and thus to the market-ready product is explained.

In the new part of the series “Secrets of Jörn
GmbH”, Joern explains the innovation process at Jörn.
How do ideas come about?
How does the idea become an invention and finally an innovation?
All this and more, excursion on patents, in the current
video.
Now part 2 of the development process of rubber metal parts from the new series:
SECRETS OF JÖRN GMBH
From simulation to FEM and first samples, to the release of serial parts.
Among other things, Joern also discusses the special characteristics and pitfalls of rubber materials and their effect on development and testing.

SECRETS OF JÖRN
Today the first part about the development process of rubber-metal parts at Jörn GmbH.
From simulation to FEM and first samples, to the release of serial parts.
Among other things, Joern also discusses the special characteristics and pitfalls of rubber materials and their effect on development and testing.
In this video, you have determined the content. Joern answers your questions.

What does Jörn do about sustainability?
Due to a customer request, we show in this video the assembly of slit bushings (rubber bushings) and dual bushings.
The steps are explained in detail and special features are pointed out. The video is intended to give all interested parties an insight into how our components are installed.

Jörn GmbH presents its research project on condition
monitoring of dynamically loaded rubber metal components.
Joern explains the current state of research and the
advantages of condition monitoring for rubber metal parts. In particular, he
discusses the rail and wind energy industries.
It is explained how the Jörn CMS can reduce downtimes and
avoid unexpected failures.
Jörn GmbH has been supplying mounts for decoupling vehicle cabins for decades. Today, Joern presents some variants and discusses the technology.
The spectrum ranges from very light cabins to heavy duty applications.
Among others, Jörn supplies his bearings to Daimler, MAN and Fendt. But also special vehicles of all kinds are equipped with Jörn bearings, such as fire engines.

Jörn GmbH presents another application.
Today, Joern shows how slit bushings can replace plain bearings in tillage equipment, especially cultivators with overload protection.
Jörn GmbH presents further components. Today the bushing halves, dual bushes, coil bushes and their special shapes.
With the help of the dual bushing, Jörn GmbH revolutionized the assembly of stabilizers and roll supports in railway bogies and truck chassis. Assembly has been made faster, easier and less error-prone thanks to the duo socket, saving vehicle manufacturers a lot of money and time.

The company Jörn GmbH from
Waiblingen presents its rubber metal parts for the suspension of bicycles and
cargo bikes.
In addition to increasing comfort, the
components also contribute to the safety of the wheels. This applies in
particular to commercially used cargo bikes, which are subject to the Workplace
Ordinance and may therefore only transmit a certain degree of vibrations to the
users.
In addition to the components, the origin of the
components and development is also briefly addressed.
For more than fifty years, Jörn has been developing maintenance-free and wear-free rubber-metal connections for suspension, noise and vibration insulation. We develop individual solutions for the construction of commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and construction machinery, rail vehicles and special vehicles. Recently, we also supply parts for cargo bikes.

Our rubber-metal elements are as unique as the corresponding end product. We then develop the final solutions for your individual areas of application in close cooperation with you.
Flexibility is our guiding value, not only in terms of development but also in terms of production and order volume. We can offer annual quantities of less than 100 elements as well as large series economically.
Technology in rubber-metal.
