dual bushes and bush halfes

The opening on the dual
bush can be widened by a stabilizer for mounting.
For installation conditions that do not allow the use of a classic slit bushing or very large diameters, bush halves or dual bushes are often used. The dual busch is characterized by a large preload. A rubber bar ensures greater ease of installation of the dual bush compared to the bush half. It is located at the inner diameter and connects the two halves of the bushing with each other. Both bushings consist of an outer shell, one or more rubber tracks separated by intermediate plates, and an inner shell with rubber film. Since the installation diameter is slightly smaller than the manufacturing diameter, the preload is carried out radially during installation.
Jörn GmbH presents further components. Today the bushing halves,
dual bushes, coil bushes and their special shapes. With the help of the dual
bushing, Jörn GmbH revolutionized the assembly of stabilizers and roll supports
in railway bogies and truck chassis.
The dual bush made assembly faster, easier and less prone
to errors, saving vehicle manufacturers a lot of money and time. In the video,
special forms of the dual bush are also briefly presented.
