The
ball joint is an invention of Jörn GmbH
Ball joints are used with simultaneously acting high gimbal and radial loads, e.g. in chassis handlebars. With their spherical inner part, the bushings are more axially resilient than slot or duo bushings of the same diameter and at the same time have a similar load capacity radially. The ball joint is axially preloaded. Ball joints are available in several versions. We also offer variants in which only the spherical shells are vulcanized. They can thus be easily combined with different internal parts.
In this video, Mr. Reinke presents a real novelty. The lightweight ball joint, patent pending. With the help of a new technology, ball joints, such as those installed in the chassis of trucks and tractors, have been made more than a third lighter. This is achieved without compromising mechanical performance, such as rigidity and service life, and at a better price level as conventional ball joints.
